Our struggle to achieve peace has to start with education.
With clips like you see below, taking a beautiful baby with amazing capabilities to grasp knowledge and teach him hate and ignorance.
I will tell you that, even if any of us has a problem with Israel or even opposing it's mere existence, cheering a baby that tells you that there is no Israel is beyond just misleading your own child but also not teach them how to cope with something that exist and you disagree with it.
That's why later, those kids grow up thinking of things in black and white.
This must be a reason why you barely see any significant Arab figures in the global intellectual arena but you actually see more of us Arabs in the area of intolerance, hate, ignorance and the performances of the coward act of terrorism.
Accepting that will keep us behind!
Most of my people would like to silence me,

I only laugh about this. Maybe that's the smartest thing we can do! I think and this is not meant as offensive, when the oil will be running out the whole world won't be interested anymore in the Middle East. I think this is realistic.
ReplyDeleteThis day is approaching quickly.
ReplyDeleteThe technology is there to be able to let the oil dictators holding their hose in their hand. (If you know what I mean).
I am very optimistic. I think we should already get ourselves together in order to help the Arab world with humanitarian aid for starvation that will hit them once the money runs out of those lazy booms.
My country, Holland and the rest of the world is already looking for answers if there's no oil anymore at disposal. Like Holland wants to build another nuclear power plant, I'm very happy with this. And I'm also happy many cars don't drive on petrol gas anymore etc.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. I keep reading more about it.
ReplyDeleteIn fact Israel and Denmark are working right now on the infrastructure to allow massive change into electric cars.
According to Mr. Agassi, the Israeli pioneer behind this initiative, in 2020 there will be no more Gasoline cars sold in Israel.
Are you really an Arab? It keeps me wondering how much you criticize.
ReplyDeleteBest regards from Holland,

Hi Marloes,
ReplyDeleteYes, I am an Arab. Both my parents are Arabs, this was the languauge I learned first and this is part of my culture. But I refuse to confirm to the sick and distorted society that is the bread and butter of my people.
I get a lot of Muslims and Arabs to doubt my roots but I invite anyone to challenge my Arabic or my understanding of the Quran or Islam in general.
If you read my other articles, you will find what I am talking about. Read the one that talks about Hitler in Arabic Wikipedia. It's unbelievable.
I"m not capable of challenging you ofcourse ;) Your English is by the way really good!
ReplyDeleteMarloes
Thank you. :-)
ReplyDeleteI guess 7 year in the US are doing well to my language.
I was charmed by the young child in the video reciting the Capitols of nations. I was later horrified to click on the red "see why" at the end of the video.
ReplyDeleteI was in a car that was in a very similar situation in Jerusalam a couple of years ago. We were stoned by a group of youngsters and, in trying to escape the situation, put everyone at risk. Thankfully, in our situation, no one was hurt.
I notice in the video that the back windows had been smashed. The people in the car were most likely frightened and were trying to escape.
I don't believe that anyone, Jew or Arab, would set out to kill youngsters in this manner. Things must be seen in context.
My friend, I don't know whether you are a Jew or Muslim but raise your kids to love. Raise your kids to learn. Raise your kids to ask. Don't force them to hate.
ReplyDeleteIn my society, most are taught to hate. I am sorry about it.
