Look at Israel on the map. Tiny!! Look at the Arab countries. HUGE!! Should we ask Israel to give land to the Palestinians? how about the Arab countries? لماذا نحن نطلب من الدولة اليهودية لإعطاء الأرض للفلسطينيين عندما كان العرب والأشقاء الفلسطينيين ، والكثير من الأراضي الفارغة وأنهم لن يعطوا أي شيء. هناك شيئا خطأ هنا.

Arabs VS. Israelis- Proportions
Muslim and Jews lived in peace and harmony during most of history. That was for as long as Jews were Dimi, which means sub-citizens that pays higher taxes and usually are subject to humiliating conditions.
For example, Jews were not allowed to ride horses. They were not allowed to hold high positions. They were allowed to convert to Islam but then were not allowed to convert back to Judaism, if they found that this is was not what they were looking for. So, yea, Jews and Muslims lived well next to each other before.
This could help understand why Jews and Arabs can't get along now. Look what happened, Jews are no longer the subject of an Arab Feudal dictator but rather, Jews came back to their homeland where they have established a country of their own.
The Jewish country, thought extremely small, has almost no natural resources, most of it is a desert still astonishes the whole world with it's technological advance, culture, education achievements, Nobel prized scholars and freedom to it's civilians.
If you look across the fence in the Arab countries, you will find most of them to be dictatorships, with no human rights, woman rights are a joke, economies that are nothing without their oil, Education that is based on hatred and ignorance.
Most Arab leader strive on this hate to Israel, pushing their people away from the real problem by blaming Israel and the "Zionist regime" in all the bad things in this world. I am a victim of such education.
I insist on mentioning names here, Qaddafi, Assad, Naesralla and others.
Look at the map on my blog, check the size of Israel compare it to the size of all these Arab countries that surrounds it. Do you really think that it's a territorial dispute? Come on...

It's already war, haven't you understood it? I completely agree with Farhan. Why keep on living in the past? I, as as Westerner, European, Dutch citizen, get really scared by you. I hope the West will be smart enough to not listen to these thoughts and keeps on developing our world.

ReplyDeleteI suggest something: stop giving attention to the Middle East. They aren't worth it, look at what's happening now: Japan, let's give attention to them. They are our brothers and friends, people like Amer isn't your brother or friend, simply because he doesn't want to be and the only thing he's doing is telling us Westerners (about 2 billion people already???) that we're pigs and dogs.

ReplyDeleteI also watch the horrible events that the Japanese are suffering and about to Indore and my heart is breaking.
This people is going through something that would have broken others much sooner but yet the Japanese shows courage, perseverance and order.
I know that in these times the world knows how to get over the differences and put aside old disputes just to participate in a humanitarian aid to simple people in need.
I saw the Brits sending forces, the Americans, as always lead with massive aid, Russians and vern Chinese.
Unfortunately, here again, I didn't see the presence of Arab countries where their help in energy, money or even just rescue teams is always unseen.
I am praying for a quick and healthy recovery of Japan

ReplyDeleteIt is an upsetting event there and we are all very emotional about it. You had a good point that we have to put out thoughts to our brothers and sisters in Japan.
ReplyDeleteJust a few minutes ago I read an article about Libya, whether the "West"/USA should intervene in Libya or not. I thought it was a good idea for the westerners to stay out of this conflict so we aren't to blame for what might happen next and those people learn how to fight for their freedom and if that doesn't work out the way it should be then their fellow Arabs should help them. Just what happened to the Europeans in WWII, USA wanted to help his brother(s) to set us free.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what the West/USA decides they can't do anything right, then I would say let's clean up your own mess and please don't send our soldiers to that hell. It's not our fight and yes I think it's terrible what's happening in Libya, but who helped us in bad times and will always help us? Our big brother from the other side of the ocean. We, Europeans, should be more grateful to them even though we don't always agree with how they act. They are the embodiment of freedom.
